Loss, Bereavement, and Life-Limiting Illness

Navigating death and dying together

I first experienced death when I was five years old. I was too young to be able to say if it changed me, but it certainly shaped me. From that early encounter grew a curiosity about how we process loss, what it does to us, and how it can alter our path.

I completed my clinical training in a hospice setting, and have worked, as part of a multidisciplinary team, with those living with a palliative diagnosis, and with their loved ones, both through the caring journey and after death, in grief and bereavement.

My time in a hospice setting remains one of the most precious experiences of my life. I feel a profound sense of privilege walking with people as they attempt to navigate life’s greatest mystery.

I have a multi-faith background which helps me hold, and understand many belief systems, religions, or spiritualities.

I’m not afraid to sit with you in the darkness, complexity, and confusion that can come with death and dying. I’m also able to be with you for the moments of joy and humour that often still find us, albeit briefly, even in our bleakest times.

If you are facing loss, or living with a life-limiting illness and want to work with me then please email me and we will arrange a 20 minute call to discuss things further.
